Linking your Facebook page to your twitter account is a good way to share your content as widely as possible. If you are an administrator of a page, when you post on your Facebook page, it will be automatically posted on your twitter account.
You can decide to create a new Twitter account for this or use your personal Twitter. Whatever you decide, you will be able to share same content to your Facebook fans as well as followers on twitter.
You have control on what type of updates to share: status updates, links, photos, notes, events or all of them. If you have multiple Pages, you will have the option to link each of those Pages to different Twitter accounts.
Follow the steps below to link your Facebook page to twitter.
Go to http://www.facebook.com/twitter and if you are not logged into your Facebook account, do that. On the page, you will see your page or pages.
If you have multiple pages, all your pages will be shown with the ability to link any of them to twitter. Click on ‘Link to Twitter’ right next to any of the pages you want to link to Twitter.
You also have the ability to edit the settings. You can configure what you want or don’t want to share on Twitter. The default settings is for sharing of status updates, photos, links, video, notes and events.
You can unlink any existing link by clicking ‘Unlink from Twitter’.
Now authorize Facebook to use your account by clicking ‘Authorize app’. Make sure you are logged into the twitter account you want to link to.
Now you have succeeded in linking your Facebook Page to Twitter. You know that when you see the success message ‘Your Facebook Page is now linked to Twitter’.
Finally click on ‘Save changes’ to save this. Do the same for any other page you want to link to Twitter.
You can not link two or more Facebook Page to the same twitter account. You will have to create a different twitter for another page.
